1:12 scale
The original is a chair made by Per Johan Andersson in 1870. Per Johan Andersson began manufacturing stick chairs in Kvarngården, Svenarum parish.
He started manufacturing with a simple treadle lathe. The wood was dried in an oven. The chairs were then sold ready for assembly to carpenters in Jönköping. The price for a dozen chairs was SEK 15.
P.J. Andersson later moved his factory to Nässjö and stick chairs became a major industry. Nässjö chair factory, with the nickname "Pinnen", provided work for many Nässjö residents. The factory was closed down in 1992.
This miniature construction kit is made of high-quality plywood. The chair should be put together with white wood glue.
