Four plates in paper 2,5 cm

There are different ways to use these paper trays. Paint them or attach a picture with a pattern you like. In either case, it is good to apply varnish when you are done.
In picture number two, you see how Eva Malmsten has done with her plates and dishes. The pictures and instructions below come from Eva's latest book "I min lilla värld av miniatyrer" ("In my little world of miniatures").

Take a glue stick and apply an even layer on the back of the design you have chosen.

Place the image on the paper plate and, using a cotton swab or a ball stylus tool, shape the image so that it adheres firmly to the plate.

When the glue has dried, shape it with a pair of small scissors so that the plate looks even and nice.

Varnish the finished plate at least three times with transparent nail polish to achieve a "porcelain luster".

An idea is to borrow Jane Fredlund's book "Stora antikboken" at the library, where there are lots of pictures of plates from, for example, Gustavsberg and Rörstrand.
