Product Description:

Two chairs from Kotte Toys. Plywood DIY kit.

Scale: 1:12

The original chair was made in the 1840s in a style usually called Biedermeier, a more bourgeois version of the Empire's furniture fashion. The chair, which is part of a series of eight, is made of polished birch and has original upholstery preserved. It is stuffed with shavings and covered with red and white half-wool damask.

The chair has belonged to the Swedish opera singer and international superstar Jenny Lind (1820-1887). She was successful on the European opera scene and also had great success in the United States. In the middle of the 19th century, she was one of the world's most acclaimed
opera singers. Her clear soprano voice enchanted the audience and she was launched as "the Swedish nightingale".

This miniature construction kit is made of high-quality plywood. The table should be put together with white wood glue.

Instruction in English is available
