Tremeau Mirror
A tremeau mirror is a wall mirror (sometimes refered to as a pier mirror) that was manufactured in France in the later 18th century. The mirror was almost invariably rectangular with a decorative carving or painted scene being the dominant feature of the mirror. Its design was aimed to sit between two windows and would often copy the shape of the window.

The whole frame measures approx. 7cm wide x 12.5cm high. The actual mirror measures 4cm x 5.5cm.
The mirror will be supplied unpainted ready for you to paint. Use any paint, acrylic, emulsion, spray paints, oils. If spraying you may wish to seal the mirror before applying the colour. You can seal it with a primer or even a solution of water and pva glue.
