Two chairs from Kotte Toys. Plywood DIY kit.
1:12 scale
The original chair is from the Swedish castle Tjolöholms slott. Tjolöholm Castle was completed in 1904. The client was the couple James Fredrik and Blanche Dickson.
The castle with furnishings is designed in Elizabethan style. Inspiration for the castle building was taken from England and Scotland, where the family also had its origins. Interior design was purchased from the well-reputed interior design company Liberty & Co, on Regent Street in London.
This chair was ordered by Blanche Dickson from Liberty in the beginning of the 20th century. A solid chair that has taken inspiration from the Tudor era 1485-1603 and from the English arts & craft movement, where genuine materials and skillful craftsmanship were appreciated.
This miniature construction kit is made of high-quality plywood. The chair should be put together with white wood glue.
